Anuradha Mishra MD, MEd
Dr. Mishra is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Dalhousie University in Halifax NS, with special interests in medical education and vision rehabilitation. She grew up in Halifax and went to Duke University for undergraduate degree in psychology and health policy (and also became a college basketball fan along the way! Go Blue Devils!) She returned to Halifax and attended Dalhousie Medical School and then stayed here for herophthalmology residency. After residency, Dr. Mishra went to Boston where she spent a year at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary doing a vision rehabilitation fellowship. During this time, she also completed a Masters in Health Professions Education at the MGH Institute of Health Professions/Harvard Macy Institute. Dr. Mishra returned to Halifax afterwards and have been in practice here since 2015. She is the President of the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Atlantic Canada. When not working, she usually running after my toddler son, playing tennis and golf, and exploring Nova Scotia’s great culinary scene.
