Kourous A. Rezaei M.D. is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases. He is associate professor of ophthalmology and director of vitreoretinal fellowship at Rush University Medical Center and is a senior partner at the Illinois Retina Associates in Chicago. Dr. Rezaei is a distinguished inductee of the Retina Hall of Fame and is listed in the Illinois Top Doctors. He is the founder of ChannelR (www.channelr.net) and course director of RETINAWS and Formula Retina. He is a founding member of Retina World Congress, serving on the Board as the Immediate Past President, is on the board of EURETINA, and is on the organizing committee of the Florence Retina Congress (FLORetina). He had served on the Board of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) and as editorial board member for Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science (IOVS), Retina Times (ASRS), Retina Today (BMC), and Eyetube. Dr. Rezaei was also the Chief Medical Office of IVERIC bio, leading the clinical development of Izervay.
