STC: Management of Ocular Surface Disease in Glaucoma

The course will discuss the management of ocular surface disease (OSD) in glaucoma featuring sessions from cornea and glaucoma subspecialists. Attendees will be introduced pearls for assessment of OSD in glaucoma, optimization of medical therapy in the setting of OSD, and pearls for glaucoma surgery in the setting of OSD. A suggested treatment algorithm for OSD in glaucoma will be introduced for attendees to incorporate in their day-to-day practice.



Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Apply a stepwise approach to the management of ocular surface disease in glaucoma.
  • Examine medical and surgical glaucoma therapy in the setting of ocular surface disease.
  • Efficiently assess the ocular surface health of glaucoma patients as well as treatment response.
