Vivian Yin MD, MPH
La Dre Vivian T. Yin est professeure agrégée de clinique à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique (UBC), et se spécialise en chirurgie ophtalmologique, plastique et reconstructrice (chirurgie oculoplastique). Elle a travaillé au Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center à New York et est retournée à Vancouver en 2019. Après avoir fait ses études en médecine et sa résidence en ophtalmologie à l’Université de Toronto, elle a suivi une prestigieuse formation postdoctorale de deux ans en chirurgie ophtalmologique, plastique et reconstructrice au M.D. Anderson Cancer Center de l’Université du Texas à Houston (Texas). Elle se concentre sur le traitement des maladies périoculaires et orbitaires; en recherche, elle s’intéresse à l’utilisation de la thérapie génétique ciblée, et elle prononce des conférences à l’échelle internationale sur ces sujets. Elle est aussi chercheure d’essais cliniques pour de multiples produits thérapeutiques en cours de développement pour le traitement des ophtalmopathies thyroïdiennes.
