À la fin de cette séance, les participants seront en mesure de faire ce qui suit:
- Être en mesure de discuter d’au moins quatre ODD en particulier pour lesquels des données probantes de haute qualité établissent un lien causal entre les interventions visuelles et l’amélioration des résultats.
- Décrire les défis liés au recrutement et les stratégies pour faire participer les populations mal desservies aux essais cliniques.
- En fonction des lois, des règlements et des recommandations propres à chaque gouvernement, les conducteurs présentant une atteinte de la vision centrale devraient pouvoir profiter d’une formation et d’une rééducation à la conduite avec dispositif bioptique, à condition de satisfaire aux critères requis pour l’obtention du permis de conduire avec un tel dispositif.
- Comprendre les mécanismes du glaucome à basse pression, discerner les affections pouvant y ressembler et en savoir plus sur les stratégies de prise en charge.
- Les apprenants seront en mesure d’évaluer et de prendre en charge adéquatement les effets indésirables oculaires d’origine immunitaire associés aux traitements oncologiques par inhibiteurs de points de contrôle.
