Raffaello Fico, ingegnere esperto di ricostruzione post-sisma, dal gennaio 2019 è Titolare dell’USRC - Ufficio Speciale per la Ricostruzione dei Comuni del Cratere, competente nella gestione ordinaria della ricostruzione successiva al sisma che ha colpito l’Abruzzo nel 2009, dopo aver ricoperto il ruolo di responsabile per la ricostruzione privata presso lo stesso Ufficio dal 2013 al 2018. È stato inoltre responsabile del presidio ReLUIS (Rete dei Laboratori Universitari di Ingegneria Sismica) che ha operato nella fase emergenziale dopo il terremoto del 2009, fino al 2013. 

Raffaello Fico, an expert engineer in post-earthquake reconstruction, has been the head of the USRC - Special Office for the Reconstruction of the Crater’s Municipalities since January 2019. He has also been responsible for the ordinary management of reconstruction following the earthquake that hit Abruzzo in 2009, after he held the role of private reconstruction manager at the same Office from 2013 to 2018. He was also in charge of the ReLUIS (Network of University Laboratories of Seismic Engineering) unit, which operated in the emergency phase after the 2009 earthquake until 2013.
