Claudia Morgana Cascione is, since 2019, Associate Professor of Comparative Private Law at the Department of Law of the University of Bari (Sector 12/E2 Comparative Law - s.s.d. IUS/02 Comparative Private Law). In 2023 she obtained the Scientific National Habilitation for Full Professorship.

She currently teaches Comparative Private Law and Comparative Contract Law at of the Law Department of the University of Bari.

She contributes to the editorial boards of some scientific national and international law journals.

She spent several research periods abroad in Germany, UK and United States.

She has participated in numerous research projects of significant national and international interest; she is the PI of the PRIN Project “Demographic and legal changes. Towards an elder law” (2023-2025).

She is the author of two monographs and about 60 publications (chapters in collected works, articles in scientific journals, notes to judgments) revolving around a number of main themes:

- The relationship between public and private property and the impact of privatisation on the traditional category of public goods;

- Fundamental rights and, in particular, privacy and personal data protection;

- Law of vulnerable persons, with particular attention to the rights of older persons.
