Introduction 

Under European law, Transfer Impact Assessment is mandatory when transferring personal data in third world countries that are not recognized as adequate. It is the responsibility of the data controller to perform the transfer impact assessment and to assess, for instance, the legal framework of third world countries. This session will focus on practical guidance to perform a Transfer Impact Assessment.
