Jason is an artist and digital specialist with a particular interest in contemporary performance practice. In theatre he has worked as a producer and production manager for large scale, site-specific performance, and as a technical specialist, playwright and dramaturg for more intimate work. Jason recently completed his PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University, where his research investigated digitally mediated intimacy expressed as one-to-one performance practice. His work embraces collisions between culture and technology, investigating how new technologies reconfigure old questions of human communication and socialisation. His current position is as research associate with award winning culture lab FutureEverything.
