Vikram Pakrashi

Prof. Vikram Pakrashi, School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, University College Dublin, is the

Director of Dynamical Systems and Risk Laboratory, winner of the Research Laboratory of the Year 2020

at the Irish Laboratory Awards. Prof. Pakrashi has published 200+ papers in journals and conferences

primarily on the topic of managing our built infrastructure with sensors and analytics to deliver

sustainable decision making. He has delivered several keynotes and invited talks globally on this topic

and leads several research projects in this field. Vikram represents the fast changing face of maintaining

and managing our built infrastructure lifelines and renewable energy assets and is actively involved in

developing guidelines and recommendations around them, forging a pathway toward standardization.
