Setting foot in the farmer’s shoe and considering the investment in IoT technology wheighed with the possible benefits but also the constraints in terms of training and re-organisation. It’s not only about IoT technology, it’s also addressing competition aspects, production aspects, and field activity. It is important to bear in mind that IoT technologies need to comply with business rules and models. How are the IoT technologies and solutions developed within IoF2020 really helping the farmer on the short and on the long term ?
