How:

Complacency is an incipient black hole that can creep into organizations with little or no warning. Caught up in day-to-day operations, leaders and managers often don’t recognize or even notice the symptoms of complacency and the gradual decline it causes, until a catastrophic event occurs. And like a black hole, complacency can pull in all reaches of your organization if left unchecked.

In this thought-provoking session, Dr. Leroy Chiao and Jami Sunkel define complacency and the dangers it poses to any organization. Astronaut Chiao discusses success in space exploration and business using his personal stories and photographs, as well as failures at NASA and other organizations. Recognition, causes, prevention and treatment strategies are presented, as are specific tools and how to use them sustainably, to keep your school and classroom operating at peak performance. Case studies are analyzed and discussed in detail. Lessons learned show how to maximize efficiency and innovation, to stay in the lead.

Join this one-of-a-kind session to learn strategies to leave complacency behind in your endeavor, to reach the stars!
