Students solidify math skills when they see real world applications and they are excited to do so when lessons revolve around a favorite topic like space travel.  Teachers can use hands on, problem solving task to engage students in learning and applying new math skills.  Activities are easy to differentiate for the needs of different learners and grade level content.
