Grades 6-12
The Big Bang, the age of the universe, and the expanding and accelerating universe: this session will demonstrate a number of hands-on classroom activities that tackle these sometimes difficult, but exciting concepts.  In addition, participants will learn how new NASA-supported research being conducted at UT-Austin and McDonald Observatory is helping to make new discoveries in these areas.
