Jill Marconi has been teaching in the Poland School System in Poland, OH since 2006. She has taught 7th and 8th grade math and science. In 2015, she developed and impleted a STEM program for grades 5-8 at Poland Middle School. Mrs. Marconi graduated from Youngstown State University with a BS in Education and from Walden University with a MS in Science Education. To further her knowledge and provide quality programming for her students, Jill was selected for the following opportunities: Siemans STEM Academy at the Discovery Channel, Honeywell Educators Space Camp, Yellowstone STEAM Camp, and Educators in the Manufacturing Workplace. In addition to this conference Jill has presented at the NSTA national conference and also at county and local waiver days. Jill and her family (including her rocket scientist son) have traveled to all 50 states where they particularly enjoy visiting the national parks.
