Bay Area native, organized fandom member, and convention super-utility staffer since 1992, Michael Garcia is no stranger to most convention-goers in California. When he's not working in forensic computing during the day, he's helping fandom organizations begin their chapters or responding to member inquires as an ombudsperson. He has served as a paid/volunteer staffer and vendor at several conventions on the West Coast, in nearly every department. In his tenth return to BayCon, he'll be representing The Royal Manticoran Navy in the halls and in panels, and he's always happy to speak to people interested in joining organized fandom groups and helping them navigate their way to success.
