Ms. Linda Colpa
Linda has been a practicing clinical and research orthoptist for 30+ years. She spent 10 years teaching, with 4 years as Program Director, in the Orthoptic Training Program at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Research interests include amblyopia, strabismus and eye movement disorders, and has co-authored several publications and two book chapters. She has held numerous positions within The Canadian Orthoptic Society (TCOS), including Central Regional Director, Secretary-Treasurer and President, as well as served on the Canadian Orthoptic Council (COC) as Vice-President and Chair of the Exam Committee. She has been an annual examiner on the COC National Exam Board since 2007 and is currently the Canadian representative to the International Orthoptic Association. Distinctions include receiving the COC Prism Award for meritorious service to the profession of Orthoptics, as well as the honour of delivering the COC Lunn Lecture at the 2019 COS meeting in Quebec City.
