Karen is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Behavioral Consultant (CBC) with advanced training in Workplace Diversity, Human Rights, and Project Management through HRPA. She specializes in developing HR strategies that integrate Indigenous values within a project management framework, bringing a unique perspective to her work.

She has been pivotal in building partnerships with private sector companies to create and implement Indigenous Participation Plans, significantly enhancing their commitment to Indigenous engagement. Currently, Karen is focused on expanding employment opportunities for Indigenous peoples, particularly in the field of BIM/Revit modeling.

Karen has a deep understanding of the unique employment and HR challenges faced by Canada's Indigenous populations. She has recently led the development of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies and aggressive anti-racism initiatives with a strong Indigenous focus, ensuring inclusivity for all.
