This is an introductory 3hr workshop for GIS practitioners who are relatively new to water resource management and for H&H practitioners who are recent/current ArcGIS Pro users. There will be a brief review of essential terminology, explanations of geospatial tool concepts, and demonstrations that focus specifically on Arc Hydro in the ArcGIS Pro software application. Attendees have the opportunity to work through hands-on exercises that will be facilitated by access to remote computers with the pre-installed software and data made available during the workshop. All you need is a laptop with reliable internet and a modern web browser.

In this 1hr workshop, you will fine-tune a pretrained model from the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World collection and apply it to high-resolution imagery to efficiently detect and classify objects in ArcGIS Pro. Participants will gain hands-on experience in adjusting the deep learning model parameters to enhance its accuracy and performance for specific use cases. Additionally, you will learn advanced techniques for data preprocessing, prepare training samples, and model evaluation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the entire deep learning workflow. By the end of the session, you will be equipped with the skills needed to use GeoAI tools in your projects. If attendees are interested in following along during the workshop, they need to install the deep learning libraries.
