Tanya is a Geospatial Professional with combined 10 years of experience in Research, Private and Non-Profit Sectors. She is an ITC, University of Twente alumni with a Master of Science in Geoinformatics. She has worked with various industries including catastrophe modeling, disaster management, and utilizing GIS for user-friendly mobile applications. In her current role as a Manager of Accessibility Initiatives with a non-profit. She contributes towards informed decision-making by performing data analysis and designing geo-visualizations outlining the absence, or concerns with accessible amenities in contrast to the spatial distribution of the demographic that needs them.
