Dr. Juan Manuel Corchado is a Full Professor with Chair at the University of Salamanca and has been the Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer from 2013 to 2017, when he also was the Director of the Science Park of the University of Salamanca and Director of the Doctoral School of the University. He has been elected twice as the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Salamanca. In addition to a PhD in Computer Sciences from the University of Salamanca, he holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of the West of Scotland. Prof. Corchado is Visiting Professor at Osaka Institute of Technology, Visiting Professor at the University Teknologi Malaysia and a Member of the Advisory group on Online Terrorist Propaganda of the ECTC (EUROPOL).
Prof. Corchado is the Director of the BISITE Research Group at the University of Salamanca, president of the Research AIR Institute, and Director of the IoT Digital Innovation Hub.
