NASA Alumni League/Johnson Space Center

Recently retired after 42 years with NASA (at JSC, KSC, & NASA Headquarters). Currently an officer on the Board of Directors of the NASA Alumni League. Frequent speaker to students from 3rd grade through college-age.

Volunteer for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, Space Center Houston, and Girlstart - an organization based in Austin, TX, that implements education programs designed to get girls in grades K-12 interested in STEM.

Dr. Kjell N. Lindgren was selected by NASA in 2009. He spent most of his childhood abroad and returned to the U.S. to complete his education and earn a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Colorado. He is board certified in emergency and aerospace medicine.
