Nichole Thomas is the resident Aerospace Educator joining the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum from Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS). She works with school outreach, field trips, teacher professional development, and public programs.

Before joining the NASM team Nichole worked at Liberty Elementary in LCPS as the Instructional Facilitator of Technology (IFT). There she provided professional development for the staff and developed co-teaching experiences in each K-5 classroom throughout the school. Prior to her IFT career, Nichole taught 4th grade in LCPS and 5th grade in Fairfax County Public Schools.

Nichole earned her master’s in education from Christopher Newport University and her B.A. in Psychology with a focus in Early Childhood Development. She also serves as a Makerbot Educational Ambassador and is passionate about bringing 3D Printing technologies into the lives of her students.
