| In the microgravity environment of space, changes to the human body can affect muscles, bones and balance. To test how gravitational environments may affect balance and stability, astronauts go through a variety of tests before and after space travel. To understand how to counter the effects of space on balance, we need to know more about balance on Earth and how it changes with age. Join us and learn about the vestibular system and how you can contribute to the understanding of how balance changes with age through the research collaboration between Baylor College of Medicine and Space Center Houston. |
