Jeff is a GIS specialist with a biology degree (focused on ecology) and over 15 years of consulting experience supporting projects across Canada. He has worked on a variety of environmental management, planning, and risk assessment projects including; constraints analysis and site selections, environmental impact assessments, environmental protection and monitoring plans, and municipal planning projects. Jeff has considerable experience in GIS providing data management, spatial analysis, and data visualization support on hundreds of projects of varying scope and complexity for numerous disciplines and industries. He has gained substantial experience in the development of specialized tools for efficient, scalable, and consistent data collection and visualization. Jeff has developed and implemented many applications using Power BI, ArcGIS Online, and Portal for ArcGIS which includes understanding the business needs and available data for clients and translating that into interactive and user friendly business analytic systems. Jeff is the Technical Group Strategist (TGS) for the national Spatial Information Management (SIM) team.
