Brian is a born-and-raised Calgarian. In his current role as Geomatics Technical Entrepreneurship Specialist with the Schulich School of Engineering, he coordinates educational experiences with the aim of introducing entrepreneurial thinking in geomatics and other engineering disciplines.

Brian's formal education includes bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering (Calgary, 2016) and biology (Victoria, 2010). Professionally, he's represented the University of Calgary at global technology conferences, choreographed a Boston Dynamics robot, and has coordinated events encouraging greater involvement of underrepresented groups in STEM. When not at the office, he enjoys traveling, baking, downhill skiing in the winter, and hiking in the summer.
