Neil Brammall
Neil has worked in the utilities sector for 20 years, creating and delivering geo-spatial software solutions focused on reducing the risk of damage to buried assets, and on improving the accuracy and quality of the data held about those assets. He has provided independent expert advice to a number of utility data sharing initiatives in the UK over several years.
Neil is currently a Technical Advisor to the UK Government’s Geospatial Commission and is Product Owner for the "National Underground Assets Register" (NUAR) project which is driving the delivery of a comprehensive and secure data sharing platform for buried assets in the UK. As Product Owner, Neil provides technical leadership on the project and on the ongoing development of a harmonised data model for the domain, based on the OGC’s MUDDI Data Model.
