
Nick is a software technologist, speaker, instructor, and blogger with nearly 30 years of programming and consulting experience in a wide variety of industries and countries. He has extensive expertise in web, enterprise, big data, and cloud software development and deployment technologies.
Since 2019, his focus is researching and building climate change-related software using Earth Observation and other data.
His approach is to combine cutting-edge technology with proven best practices and frequent prototyping. This helps to deliver solutions that give clients maximum value and input while reducing their risk and expense. He is a technical contributor to the Linux Foundation's Open Source Climate (OS-C) Physical Risk and Resilience stream.
