Elizabeth Henrikson

she/her

6th STEM/Science Teacher
Fruita Middle School

Im a Colorado girl who is love with the mountains.  I am a wife and mother to furrbabies.  I teach 6th grade science and STEM afterschool.  I am a proud Space Foundation Teacher Liaison, National Geographic Certified Educator, member of 100Kin10 and award receipent of the Air Force Association State Teacher of the Year in Colorado.

Since a young girl I have been in love with Space, beginning with being the class astronomer in 5th grade. I never thought my passions would bring me to being at NASA learning how to share this passion with others.  I now have a NASA Team at my school, use lunches for Lunch Launches, and have taken the Buzz Aldrin Giant Mars Map to rural schools/libraries to share the amazing progress of our Space Program.
