Beyond the event horizon- The basic nature of black holes

Have you ever wondered what a black hole is or where it goes? The specific construction of black holes seems to be one of the most consistently asked questions regarding the basic nature of the cosmos.
This presentation will cover the basics of what a black hole is, why it’s “black”, and what that means for the structure of the universe as we understand it. We will also cover some classroom activities that can be used to model and demonstrate black holes for students.
