Dr. Robin Parker has been an educator in the Calgary area for over 20 years. She has taught in K-9 classrooms as well as at university as an instructor of undergraduate and graduate students. Having spent time working in specialized literacy settings allowed her to begin to focus her professional growth on how children might best acquire foundational literacy skills. Years later, this continues to be an area of passion. One of her favourite aspects of her current role is seeing the joy and confidence in students as they begin to see themselves as readers and writers!
