Dr. Vivian T. Yin is a clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia specialized in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. She worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and returned to Vancouver in 2019. After completing her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto, she pursued a prestigious 2-year fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She focuses on the treatment of periocular and orbital disease, with the use of genetic-based targeted therapy as her research interest, and speaks internationally on these topics. She is also a clinical trial investigator for multiple therapeutics in development for the treatment of thyroid eye disease.
