Dara was born in Lagos, Nigeria, moved to England two years after, and finally settled in Canada in 2001. He spent the rest of his childhood and adolescence in Saskatchewan. He received a Bachelor of Science with Great Distinction in Physiology & Pharmacology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015. Then received his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2019.Now, he is just about to commence his final year of ophthalmology residency at the University of Manitoba. Currently, he serves as the Vice-President of the Black Residents of Canada and in several mentorship roles as both advocacy and mentoring are important to him.In his down time, Dara likes to work out, play basketball and spend time with his loved ones.
