Dr. Ribeiro is the Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Hospital da Luz Lisboa, Portugal, as well as a Professor of Ophthalmology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Lisbon. Dr. Ribeiro also is the President-Elect of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and is Editor for the JCRO.
