The time has come for the presentation of this year's mobile mapping system and SLAM system participants.

Are you looking to collect more data, faster and accurately? Looking to buy a mobile mobile mapping or SLAM system and incorporate it into your workflows? If you are, you're considering tens of thousands to millions of dollars of investment. Do you know what's available to you? Are you sure that's all of them? Do the options available suit your needs? Is there candid data you can look at to see what you'd be getting from these platforms?

Oh, how the world is changing. Technology is progressing faster than ever before; robotics and geomatics have become fused together in revolutionary technology that is sweeping industry for all the right reasons. Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) isn't just knocking on the geomatics industry door, its kicking it in! But who are the players? What's available now beyond a simple 'Google' or 'CoPilot' search is a vast array of manufacturers from around the world that all have their niche place in spatial intelligence.

Known as the "SLAM Scan-Off" last year, the CanSLAM Circuit is the initiative looking to collect data from ALL mobile mapping and SLAM systems in a common, controlled environment to cross-evaluate options, performance, and consumer-relevant metrics while making that data available for education and industry development. It is expansion of last year's event to include more industry relevant scenes at or near post-secondary schools preparing students for geomatics, mobile mapping, and/or reality capture professions to help bring industry and education together. Join us as we present this year's site selections and findings on mobile mapping and SLAM system performance!
