Jennifer has over 20 of experience in the field of geomatics. She obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) from McMaster University in Earth Sciences with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Her career has spanned across a few different areas of geomatics from working on Electronic Navigation Charts with the Canadian Hydrographic Services to Topographic Surveys and related mapping with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). In 2019, Jennifer became the Operational Lead overseeing the implementation of the Underground Infrastructure (UI) Damage Prevention program in the National Capital Area. This is one portion of a PSPC National Program that is progressively being rolled out across all regions in Canada. Jennifer is a strong advocate of geospatial accuracy and location data and regularly supports PSPC project management as subject matter expert for survey data collection, integration and local datums.
