Andrea Cimmino

Researcher
Politecnical University of Madrid
Participates in 1 Session

Andrea Cimmino enrolled the PhD program at the Computer Languages and Systems at the University of Seville in November of 2014. During this past years he worked in several national projects ISIDORO (TIN2013-40848-R) and VORTEX.In the context of such projects he developed is PhD, which focuses on data and ontology matching using machine learning approaches. Currently Andrea Cimmino works at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as a researcher. He participated in several European projects, from which his research interests move to the Internet of Things field. His late research focuses on data integration, specifically the RDF materialization from heterogeneous data sources, and how this topic could be applied in the field of the Internet of Things to achieve semantic interoperability.
