Symposium for Young Ophthalmologists: Intro into Practice: Residents’ guide for personal growth
My Session Status
This session will feature an array of tips and tricks that every resident should know for thriving in residency while getting on the road for professional success.
Our panel of speakers will explore topics such as resiliency and wellness, mentorship and lessons learned for personal and professional growth, along with experiential exercises led by physician-chaplain Dr. Agnes Wong. Our speakers will also reflect on the important considerations and “things they wish they knew” when choosing a specialty or job, starting up a clinic or running a rural ophthalmology practice. Lastly, we have a diverse panel dedicated to discussions for setting healthy financial habits early in career followed by an interactive small group session demystifying the nitty-gritty of billing.
