Dr. Sergio Guillen Barrionuevo is currently Chief Innovation Officer at MYSPHERA (www.mysphera.com). Graduate in Electronic Engineering (EE), Biomedical Engineer (BM) and PhD on Telecommunications by the Polytechnic University of Valencia, UPV. Since the beginning of his professional career he as combined both, academic and research activities and entrepreneurial undertakings. He has participated in more than 60 R&D projects funded by Framework Programme 5, 6, 7 and Horizon 2020, in the digital health, ICT on active ageing, wearable electronics, IoT, Big Data, AI and digital platforms fields. He is Chair of Health Working Group in the Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI).

In the entrepreneurial filed, he founded several start-ups in fields like transport information systems, wearable-smart textiles and wellbeing, connected health systems, and hospital processes information systems.

Main fields of interest are Digital Health, technologies and digital services for Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA) and IoT for Health Care and AHA, AI and Health Data Spaces business.
